Everything We Know About the Next Season of The Bachelorette

The state of our nation is in turmoil. No not that nation; Bachelor Nation, obviously.

Back in March, when Barbara Peter Weber’s season of The Bachelor wrapped, the world was a simpler place. We were preparing ourselves for a weird season of The Bachelor Presents: Listen to Your Heart and anxiously awaiting the premiere of Clare Crawley‘s season of The Bachelorette. Now Peter is dating his fourth runner-up, Matt James was announced as the next Bachelor and Clare Crawley is about to start filming in quarantine.

This feels like a storyline only the sick minds behind The Bachelor could come up with.

Here’s what we know about the next season of The Bachelorette so far.

According to prolific Bachelor know-it-all, Reality Steve, the next season of The Bachelorette will begin filming this month. The rumored plan is for 39 year-old Clare and her overly-muscled reverse harem cast to arrive at a resort in Palm Springs sometime this week. After a week of COVID-19 testing and quarantine, they’ll begin filming on site. Unless it’s to the pool bar, they will not be traveling at all. It’s like being stuck on the beach in Paradise but without Wells Adams. Sounds terrible.

Having visited Palm Springs in July in the past, I have some questions. Such as, “Why?” and “Huh?”  I just checked the weather there and it is currently 112 degrees Fahrenheit. ONE HUNDRED AND TWELVE. I don’t know what Clare did to upset the Bachelor gods in her past but she better offer up her firstborn son as The Bachelor 2050 to appease them immediately.

I just keep picturing all of these sweaty, hot men in their 30’s, bored out of their mind in quarantine, falling over themselves to win the affection of a 39 year-old woman.

Never mind, I take back all of my complaints, that sounds amazing.

The Bachelorette will air on Tuesday nights this fall.
