The Baby-Sitters Club is Coming to Netflix to Unite Tweens and Their Moms

I can count on one hand the number of things in this world that my tween daughter and I enjoy equally:

  1. Laying in the sun
  2. Eating tacos
  3. Looking at Zac Efron
  4. Sleeping in
  5. The Baby-Sitters Club

Yes, THAT Baby-Sitters Club

The one that inspired many a millennial tween to spend at least an entire summer trying to start a small business from their bedroom.

Thanks to the re-brand of Ann M. Martin’s beloved book series as a popular set of graphic novels, The Baby-Sitters Club universe is back and more popular than saving the turtles with elementary aged girls everywhere.

That’s really popular.

And now, things are about to get even better for millennial moms and their tween daughters, because Netflix is releasing ten episodes of a brand new The Baby-Sitters Club series on July 3rd.

This trailer has it all; Kristy mad about Watson, Mary Anne acting shy with my first book boyfriend, Logan, Claudia hiding candy, Dawn looking California cool, and Stacey flirting with the cute lifeguard when she was supposed to be watching the Pike kids at the beach. Plus, it reveals a perfectly updated cast full of the the diversity Stoneybrook desperately needed.

But most importantly, my tween daughter and I watched the trailer together with matching, giant smiles on our faces.

July 3rd can’t get here soon enough.
