All the New Romance Books You Need to Read This Winter

Sometimes you just need a few new romance books to get you through the winter nights. These new releases are exactly what your to-be-read pile ordered.

Shipped by Angie Hockman

Shipped is a fun iteration of the enemies-to-lovers trope set on a cruise ship in the Galapagos Islands. What’s not to love about that?

Henley is a workaholic anxiously waiting for her chance to finally break the glass ceiling into the executive level of her travel corporation. Graeme is her long-distance work nemesis who is on track to steal her promotion. When they are forced together on a working vacation in the Galapagos Islands to plan their next marketing gimmick the sparks start flying.

This book is exactly what we need to warm up the cold winter nights.

Much Ado About You by Samantha Young

Much Ado About You is a delight. It’s a confection of wanderlust and electric chemistry that I didn’t even know I needed.

When 33-year old Evangeline finds herself unemployed, single, and ready for a change; she rents an air BnB in North Umberland, England that includes the responsibility of a local bookstore. Enter the adorable villagers who befriend her, the crusty locals who hate her, and one SUPER hot local farmer who wants her, and you have my kryptonite.

BRB, booking my flight to England.

Our Italian Summer by Jennifer Probst

Our Italian Summer is a dreamy escape to sun-soaked Rome where three generations of the Ferrari family women are taking a break from their lives and trying to find their way back to each other.

This is a classic Jennifer Probst book with gorgeous cathedrals, realistic family drama, hot foreign men, and food. So much food.

The Ex Talk by Rachel Lynn Solomon

The Ex Talk was exactly the type of book I was looking for when I picked it up. It had banter, two hot leads with ridiculous chemistry, a premise that forced them together, and then sparks. SO MANY SPARKS. I just really, really loved it.

Shay and Dominic are rivals at the failing Seattle public radio station where they work. In a last-minute shot at saving their jobs, they agree to start a new radio show about their failed romantic relationship. Who wouldn’t want to listen to a show with two exes doling out advice and making fun of each other? The problem is that they never actually dated, but now they kinda want to. The lies that surround their relationship are tumultuous, but their chemistry is white-hot.

Lore by Alexandra Bracken

Okay, this one isn’t exactly a romance, but it does have kissing in it.

It takes a hot minute to immerse yourself in the world of Alexandra Bracken’s latest, Lore, but once you do, it’s quite the ride.

The ancient Greek Gods are not only real, but they also become mortal for 7 days every 7 years while humans try to hunt them to steal their power. Of course, the hunters are the human descendants of the ancient family lines who dedicate their lives to serving their god. It’s part mafia, part greek mythology, and part Hunger Games. What’s not to love?

I enjoyed this read very much, it wasn’t really like anything else I’ve read recently, and yet it felt familiar and fun.

The Love Proof by Madeleine Henry

The Love Proof was one of those stories that sucked me in, tossed me around like a rag doll, and then spit me out both bruised and better for it. I really loved it.

Sophie is a young physics genius on track to change the world. Jake is the man who changes hers. Their story takes place over decades and yet all at once.

Just a really wonderful book.

Float Plan by Trish Doller

Pre-order Float Plan immediately, because THIS BOOK IS MY NEW FAVORITE.

Ugh, man. So good.

Heartbroken heroine on a quest to find healing on a solo sailing trip through the Caribbean after the death of her fiance by suicide. Irish sailing pro whose career is cut short by an injury that takes his leg. WEEKS ON A SAILBOAT IN THE CARIBBEAN WHILE THEY HEAL EACH OTHER.

OMG so good.
