AMC+ is quickly becoming one of our favorite channels, as they keep pushing out content with so many of our favorites. This summer, it’s Schitt’s Creek Emmy-award winner, Annie Murphy, starring in the new dark comedy, Kevin Can F**k Himself.
The trailer for the new series just dropped at the TCAs.
Forget A Little Bit Alexis, Annie Murphy is getting a little bit stabby.
Part multi-cam sitcom, part dark dramedy, Kevin Can F**k Himself, was created by Valerie Armstrong and executive produced by Rashida Jones. The women-centric helm is part and parcel of how the show plans to adeptly show what it’s like to maneuver through life as the typical sitcom wife in an era where women are choosing more than just quips and cute jeans to signal empowerment.
The series looks imminently genre-bending, and not a little bit WandaVision-esque, taking us back and forth between Allison’s real life inner world, her experiences out in the world, and the bright, laugh-track laden hell of Kevin’s world.
Nothing about it looks like what you expect. Except, it looks great.

Beth is the proud sponsor of two little women and a huge fan of fandom. She took 3 years of Latin in high school and now speaks fluent pretension, which fully explains her current preference for gay wizard regency novels. She will roll over for a giant book with a map in the front. She takes comic book recommendations every day but Wednesday and TV recommendations never (she knows what's good).
